Dean and Sam Winchester stepped out of the car and looked at the highschool before them.
“Who the hell names a town Smallville?” Dean said, leaning on the car. “Sammy, what the hell are we doing here?” He walked around the car and stood by his brother.
“Dean, I told you about the articles I saw on the internet. I wanted to talk to the girl that wrote them. I think her name was Chloe Sullivan.” Sam said, walking towards the school.
Dean groaned. “Okay, but I don’t see how a highschool reporter is going to have a clue about the night demon we’re hunting.” He followed his brother into the school.
“We’re looking for the newspaper office.” Sam said, flashing a fake badge at the woman in the office before returning it to his pocket.
“The Torch?” The lady smiled. She pointed down the hall. “Right around that corner. I’m sure Chloe is still there.”
Sam nodded his thanks and led his brother down the hall. They entered the small newspaper office and stood against the wall.
“She’s not here.” Dean said, starting toward the door. “Can we leave now?”
Sam frowned. “Dean, come on man. We can wait a few minutes.”
“Whatever.” Dean sat down in the chair in front of the computer and leaned back.
