Chloe gave the two men a skeptical look. "What interest would you have in my story?" She stood up and walked over to the filing cabinet. She placed some files in a drawer and turned back to face them. "I can't imagine two officers having an interest in what I was told was a complete tale of fiction."

"I read the article." Sam cleared his throat. "It was good. I saw the comments and such you got from it. They really gave you a hard time, huh?"

"One of the many fallbacks of journalism." She smiled.

Dean spoke up. "We'd love to hear you tell us about the article."

Sam looked at his brother in disbelief. Dean never took any interest in things like that. He was all for the hunt and kill.

Chloe grinned at Dean. "I'd love to tell it."

"Great, I'll pick you up at eight. Should I pick you up here?" Dean asked, smiling.

“I’ll be here.” Chloe nodded.

Dean grabbed his brother’s arm and led him from the room. Sam followed Dean down the hallway. “Dude, what are you doing? We could have gotten all the information right then.” Sam stopped walking and looked at Dean.

Dean shrugged his shoulders. “Then, I wouldn’t have got me a date.” He winked at Sam and walked out of the school with Sam following close behind.

Chloe wrapped her arms around herself and smiled. She was definitely looking forward to a date with the handsome man that had just walked out of her office.

"Hey, Chloe. Who were those guys I saw leaving here?" Clark asked, coming into the room.

“They wanted to know about my article on the night demon.” Chloe said, taking her keys out of her purse. “I have to run home and get ready.”
