"So, what's the deal then?" Chloe repeated, smiling.

"You wouldn’t believe me if I told you. It ranks way up there on the weird scale."

"Just try me. I am the creator of the wall of weird." Chloe said, grinning at him.

"Wall of weird?" Dean looked at her confused.

"I'll explain another time. Tell me about you first." She sat her cup down on the table and leaned back in her chair.

"My brother and I are hunters." Dean cleared his throat. "We hunt demons, witches, ghosts, stuff like that. Yes, there is a such thing."

"I'm not surprised." Chloe said, shaking her head. "I've always been a true believer in the weird stuff that no one else believes. So, I can see where that stuff might be real."

Dean laughed. He had definitely found a girl for him. "So, since you're still sitting here I am assuming that you aren't going to go running and screaming out the door."

Chloe burst out laughing. "No, I'm not."

"Good." He took a sip of his coffee and grinned. "So are you gonna tell me about that demon?"

"Yeah." Chloe nodded. "I started researching it when a kid turned up dead here in town. I found a source who told me that the demon was killing people. I was never able to get any leads on him, but my source gave me a description."

"And?" "Dirty brown hat, red and green sweater. Brown glove with knives. Said that it was badly burned. To be perfectly honest, it sounded just like the guy in those movies. Freddy Kreuger."

Dean sighed. "A Termitas, as we call it, can take any form it wants. That was the first thing that Sam said when he read your article is that the description matches."

"So, you’re telling me that this thing really does look like the guy from the movies?"
