"Come on, Dean." Sam climbed out of the car and looked over it at his brother. "Falling a little hard, aren't you?"

Dean shook his head. "Who said anything about falling? The girl's hot and she was fun to hang out with."

"Uh huh." Sam said, grinning.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Dean asked, following his brother in to the woods.

"Nothing." Sam answered, when Dean caught up to him.

"Let's concentrate on business okay?" Dean pointed at the woods. "We gotta find that thing."

Sam laughed. "Ready for the hunt?"

"Always." Dean smiled. "Let's go little brother."

Chloe was placing things in boxes when Clark walked into the office. "Hey." She smiled at him and tossed him a box. "How about taking that to my car for me?"

He grinned. "Sure." When he returned a few minutes later, he began helping Chloe pack up the personal stuff that she would be taking home with her. "So, how was your date?" He asked, casually.

"It went well." Chloe said, closing up a box and setting it to the side. "It was mainly coffee and talking."

"Really?" Clark said, hiding a small tear in the corner of his eye. He had stood across the street and watched as Dean had kissed Chloe goodnight. He didn't understand why it bothered him so much.

"Is something wrong?" Chloe asked, looking at him.

"No, I'm fine." He smiled at her. "I'm glad you had fun."

"Yeah, Dean is pretty cool. He and his brother are looking into the night demon article I wrote."
