The next morning, Chloe, Dean, and Sam were up early. After all three were ready to go, Sam spoke up. "I've been thinking, Dean. Maybe we should drive Chloe out to her friend's house, while we look around?"

Dean shrugged. "Whatever she wants to do."

Chloe looked at the two brothers and sighed. "I'll be fine with you two. Why don't I stay with you? Like you said last night, I could show you around the town."

Sam nodded. "That's a good point." He looked over at the look Dean was throwing him. "Chloe, why don't you go wait in the car?"

Chloe nodded to them and walked out of the room.

Dean continued throwing their supplies into a bag. "I don't see what the big deal is about her going with us."

"Dean, she could get hurt and you know it. If we take her out to her friend's house at least she would be safe."

"How can you be so sure?" Dean said roughly. "The thing attacked her, remember?"

Sam shrugged. "I was only trying to look out for her. You seem to think a lot of her."

Dean stopped packing the bag and turned to Sam. "It's a job, man. I'm just trying to protect her."

Sam grinned. "Yeah, whatever you say, Dean."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Dean grabbed the bag and followed Sam out the door.

"Just what I said." Sam smiled at his brother.

"Yeah." Dean said, shooting him a look. "Whatever I said." He opened the trunk and tossed the bag inside. Walking around to the driver's side, he smiled at Chloe as he climbed in.
