The other one stared at her for a moment and then smiled, nodding his head.
Chloe smiled at him and fired a shot at the one who had spoken. The bullet hit his shoulder and immediately the Clark form evaporated, taking on the form of a large bird. Without a moment's pause, the bird lifted off the ground and disappeared.
"Chloe!" Clark ran to her and pulled her into a hug. "I thought I had lost you." He whispered, as she buried her face in his chest and began to cry. "It's okay." He stroked her hair and kissed the top of her head softly.
Dean and Sam stood there watching the two of them hug. Dean frowned slightly, but then a smile appeared on his face. He looked over at his brother. "I think you were right."
"What was that?" Sam asked in a mocking tone. "Are you saying that I was right about something?"
"Get over it." Dean muttered, looking up at the sky. "That thing is still out there. One shot isn't going to do it."
“I know.” Sam said, shaking his head.
Chloe had heard this and stepped back from Clark. Turning to face the two brothers, she whispered. "You mean it'll come back?"
"Unfortunately." Dean said, frowning. "It takes at least two shots from the colt to kill it. So, we’re half way there."
"How will we track it now?" Clark asked.
