Clark wiped the tears from her eyes and ran a finger along her face. "I was stupid. It took me so long to realize it that I almost lost you to someone else. I thought I would die, when I saw you kiss him."

Chloe stared at him for a moment. "Dean? You were watching?"

Clark nodded. "I'm sorry. I know I shouldn't have done that, but the thought of losing you terrified me."

Chloe's face lit up with the most beautiful smile. "Do you really mean that?"

"With all my heart." Clark said, staring into her eyes. He couldn't help but smile. He had never seen Chloe look so happy.

"Is this really happening?" Chloe asked, closing her eyes as Clark ran his finger along her face again.

"Yes." He breathed. He pulled her closer to him, as he kissed her lips.

"I never stopped loving you." Chloe whispered, when the kiss had ended. "I don't think I ever could."

Clark smiled and lifted her into his arms. He walked over to the couch and sat down, placing her gently in his lap. "You don't know how scared I was when that thing had you. I was so afraid that I would never get the chance to tell you how I feel."

Chloe placed her hand on his face. "You saved me, Clark. Just like you always do." She ran her hand through his hair. "My hero." She kissed his lips softly.

When she started to pull away, Clark wrapped his arms tightly around her and kissed her again. Clark ran his hand along her back as he kissed her deeply.

Chloe reached up and began to unbutton his shirt.
