"She's still breathing." He whispered, placing a hand on her face.

Chloe stirred. "What...?"

"Hey, it's okay." Dean smiled at her. "Take it easy." He helped the unsteady girl to her feet.

"Is that thing gone?" Chloe looked around, shaking.

"Yeah, it's okay." Dean whispered, looking over at Sam. "Sammy, did you hit it?"

Sam shook his head.

Chloe looked terrified when Dean looked back at her. "It's gonna be okay." He whispered, pushing a piece of her hair from her face.

She burst into terrified sobs.

Dean looked surprised when she buried her face in his chest. He looked up to see his brother grinning at him. He shot Sam a look and wrapped his arms around the sobbing girl.

"Let's get you to the hospital to be checked out." Dean said, stepping back. "That's quite a bump you got there."

“I’m okay.” Chloe looked up at him.

"Are you sure?" Sam walked over to her. "Don't you think they should at least have a look at you?"

"I hate hospitals." Chloe stated bluntly. "It didn't cut me, just made me hit my head."

Dean nodded slowly. "You can't stay here by yourself. You need to come with us." He led her toward the car.

"Chloe!" Clark came around the side of Chloe’s house and ran up to them. "I heard you scream and I..."

"You heard her scream?" Dean said, eyeing him suspiciously. "You were here the whole time and you let him get her on the ground?"
