Clark watched her walk away with a sinking feeling in his stomach. Sighing, he turned and headed to his own class.

Hours later, when the bell had rang, Chloe met Clark in the hallway with a huge grin on her face. "We are officially free of highschool. How was your last day of classes?"

"Okay." Clark said, smiling at her. He turned and walked with her as she headed for the front door. When he opened the door and saw Dean standing by his car in front of the school his face fell. "So, he's picking you up now?"

Chloe smiled up at Clark. "He doesn't want me to be alone until that thing is caught."

"I'll bet." Clark mumbled, as he watched Chloe walk down the steps toward Dean. Sighing, he walked quickly down the steps. "Hey, man." Dean said casually.

"Hi." Clark said and then turned to Chloe. "You know you are welcome to stay with me."

"She's crashing at the hotel with us." Dean stated flatly. He led Chloe around to the other side of the car and opened the door for her. "We'll take care of her. Don’t worry."

"I'll be fine, Clark." Chloe smiled at him, as she climbed in the car.

Clark frowned while he watched the car drive away.

Chloe and Dean sat laughing in the floor, when Sam walked in to the hotel room.

"What's so funny?" Sam asked, grinning.

"Oh, I was teaching your brother how to lose at poker." Chloe said, pointing at the cards in the floor.

"How to lose?" Dean looked shocked. "I've beaten you four times."
