"We've been down here for hours." Dean muttered, running the flashlight along the cave wall. "We're coming up empty."

"That thing is here somewhere." Sam said stubbornly. "We just have to find it."

Dean looked at his brother. "Well, my patience is really wearing out."

"Check this out!" Sam whispered, pointing down one of the paths. "It's in there."

"I'll be damned." Dean said,grinning. "Shoot it and let's get out of here."

Suddenly, the birdlike creature flew down the tunnel towards them.

"Get down!" Dean yelled, pushing Sam to the side. He dove to the ground as the creature flew over his head. He looked up in time to see it reach out it's talons. "Shit!" He yelled, when it dug it's talons into his arm and lifted him off the ground.

"Dean!" Sam shouted as the thing flew deeper into the cave. "Dammit!" He dug his phone out of his pocket and dialed Clark's number.

Chloe laid her head on Clark's chest as he wrapped his arms around her. "Amazing." She whispered, kissing his bare chest gently. Clark smiled and kissed the top of her head. "Oh, yeah."

Chloe shivered slightly.
