"Are you cold?" Clark was on his feet like lightning and returned with a blanket. He wrapped her up in the blanket and returned her head to his chest. He sighed when he heard his cell phone ringing. "Oh, not now."

Chloe smiled as she raised her head to look at him. "It could be Dean or Sam. Maybe they found that thing. They said they would call."

Clark stood up and grabbed the phone. "Hello."

Chloe sat up when he hung up the phone. "What is it?" She asked when she saw the worry on Clark's face.

"That was Sam." Clark said, frowning. He ran at full force and appeared a second later fully clothed. "I have to get to the caves."

"What happened?" Chloe said, standing.

"The creature got Dean, and Sam said that it will kill him." Clark said, looking at her.

"I'm coming with you." Chloe said, reaching for her clothes.

"No." Clark grabbed her arms and pulled her to him. "Stay here. I don't want that thing anywhere near you."

Chloe nodded slowly and placed a hand on his face. "Please be careful."

"Always." He kissed her and quickly disappeared.

Chloe looked at the place where he had been and ran to the barn window. She looked out into the night with fear in her eyes.
